Section 18 of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 (the Act)
encourages
States to develop and operate their own job safety and health programs. OSHA
approves and monitors State plans. The following states have approved
State Plans (click on the links for details and contact information for each
state program):

January 2008
All of the 26 State Plan States have posters on their occupational safety and
health program that employers must post in the workplace. Twenty (20) of these
States have an English poster available on the State website and 15 States have
a Spanish poster electronically available. Two States (Minnesota and Washington)
also provide the poster in other languages on their websites, including Arabic,
Cambodian, Hmong, Korean, Laotian, Oromo, Russian, Serbian, Somali, and
Vietnamese. The chart below provides links to the posters available for
