Chemical name/synonym database

Find the acronyms, chemical identification numbers and chemical names reported by the US EPA's Envirofacts program system databases (AFS, PCS, RCRIS and TRIS) for thechemical selected by you.
EMCI Chemical References Web Pages (replaces the EPA Chemical References Index page. View a listing of chemicals that are monitored by EPA's Major Program Systems: Air (AFS), Water (PCS), Hazardous Waste (RCRIS), Superfund (CERCLIS) and Toxics Release Inventory (TRIS) and a complete listing of all chemical references.
Hazardous Solvent Substitution Data System (HSSDS)
- was created to help end users find alternatives to using hazardous chemicals
for cleaning purposes. The system contains vendor supplied information about each product, as well as Material Safety Data Sheets that relate to each product.

Department of Energy / Department of Defense's
Solvent Handbook Database System (SHDS)
was developed as an efficient, easily accessible, electronic solvent utilization handbook. A useful
solvent evaluation methodology
is also available.
MSDS sites allow you to look up and print a Material Safety Data Sheet for common products which contain hazardous constituents or may be considered to be hazardous to human health. If you can not find what you are looking for in one site, try another.
