After working both in the US, Europe and Asia in the environmental health & safety profession for large environmental companies and multinationals, I formed EHSO to provide free or low cost accurate, honest information to other environmental health & safety professionals and the general public.
Too often the truth is buried behind the ignorance and hype of the media; greed of large companies, twisted fanaticism of environmental extremists and nut cases, political aspirations of sleazy politicians, and the well-intentioned but equally destructive hyperbole of those who repeat clich�s and platitudes without challenging their validity.
Consequently, through EHSO I try to offer the best available information - which will usually annoy BOTH the fanatical tree-hugging extremists AND the soul-less greedy corporate dweebs. So be it! :-)
We would also like to offer affiliate services from ethical small and mid-sized environmental and safety companies to help environmental and safety professionals by:
EHSO was formed in 1997 to apply emerging computer technologies to solving environmental problems; particularly information, database and expert systems via the internet. EHSO serves a variety of clients in the manufacturing sector, governments, medical communities school systems and universities, and companies small and large, and provides factual environmental health & safety information directly to the public. EHSO also cooperates on projects with other environmental partners and government agencies.
